Can I tell you my (personally) illogical fear? I'm terrified of icebergs. They just freak me out so much. I can appreciate how beautiful they look, but as a concept, and the idea of actually being near one, just freaks me out, and I have no idea why. So. That's what I'm afraid of 😂

2: What scene did you first put down?

for this one i absolutely started at the very beginning. as soon as my friend told me the idea, i knew how i wanted it to start and i really like how it opened and where it went from there. it was my first fic in about 15 years and it was an amazing feeling to realize i could still write.

3: What’s your favorite line of narration?

i couldn’t choose between:

Emma totters a bit on the ladder, trying to regain her balance. Mouth pressed into a tight line, Bucky grabs her by the waist and sets her gently on the floor.

or

A rude beam of sunlight slants across her closed eyes and she furrows her brow, pouts a little, as she rolls over.

13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn’t listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?

i listened to my specially made stay high playlist. it’s heavily informed by what was in my spotify rotation at the time and that fit the vibe

25. Do they have hobbies they share?

in all universes they both like to read so they definitely enjoy doing that together and they enjoy recommending books to each other. in AUs where sarah’s not a chef by trade, cooking is a hobby of hers that she shares with bucky; she loves teaching him to make stuff, not because he’s a good student (he tries to be!) but because he makes it fun in the kitchen and is always stealing kisses.

27. Who is the lightweight who needs to be taken care of after a party?

in canon that is absolutely sarah because bucky has the serum so he’ll carry her home since she took her shoes off at some point in the evening and refuses to put them back on because it’s too hard and her feet need to breathe (it makes sense to her, okay?). in other verses, it’s usually bucky! especially if there’s a dog or cat around. he loves them so much and did she SEE its little paws? they have to get a pet immediately, are there any shelters open? maybe she can just put this kitten in her purse and it can be theirs.

this is from the sarahbucky mafia au and it’s their, well… i guess you’d call it a meet ugly. i’m proud of the whole opening tbh, there’s a lot of fun, snappy dialogue and i think it really shows how i am growing as a writer.
