@kirkwallschamp Its an AU where my canon warden (Sheridan Amell) isnt recruited by Duncan but instead survives Uldreds attack on the Circle and is later transfered to Ostwick. Years later, being the respected moderate she is, shes sent to the Conclave and becomes the Herald. In my usual canon I canon her having just as much of a crush on Cullen as he does on her, so its the story of a development of love.

@kill-your-idles thats been brought to my attention, to me the concern here is that, you have no choice in the matter, you always know Cullen likes you, period. Like with other flirtable NPCs (Gorim ans Teagan for instance) you initiate it. Even though Zev is all flirt, he still can be stopped very fast. No matter what Cullen always reveals his infatuation, and you have no impact on his opinion or behavior. Which, while realistic, is the ppposite of every other flirt/romance in the game. While I dont mind it, I can see why that would make players unfomfortable.

@ravenclawnerd lolololol I mean theres still an AU where Zhaire took the opposite approach and got over Quinn and then fell for Arcann, but lbr in canon shes always loved Quinn, and it was never gunna be any different.

Tbqh So much so much is going to depend on Quinns reaction to Zhaire and her thoughts, because girls gotten pretty neutral now, she sees both sides as frustratingly antiquated and too caught up in ideologies that perpetuate this spiral of destruction. So much so that they were willing to let the galaxy fall to Zakuul instead of working together. And she had to fix that and has no more time for the bs. Tbh part of me is okay if theres an ideological divide they cant breach. Im okay with the angst that would be Zhaire shedding that last part of her old self. She might be forever alone but still.
