I once saw someone say that Dorcas died trying to find a way to save Lily, and that omg that destroyed me. That's beautiful. I love it. I also really like this ship in combination with Narcissa drama involved like dorcissa or narlily on the side and it being all messy?
but yes in general this is just a very solid ship and I love it, it's just not one that I have a lot of actual headcanons about because I don't usually think about it much. There is SO much angst potential tho, especially in the war, and that's perfect.

okay like obviously, most combinations of marauders femslash options are gonna be a yes from me. But I really like lilylene as like.. an angsty friends-to-sorta-lovers in the middle of the war thing? We have Lily's need to do the right thing (after failing to do it for a while as a child) and Marlene being her friend through all of it while having this underlying crush that she's never tried to think about much. It can all come to blows during the war, when everything is tense and everyone is dying, and I personally don't see it being more than a brief and intense relationship like that in a canon-esque setting? Which is not an insult bc god knows I love passionate intense brief flings. But in AUs it'd be SO much fun to explore a longterm relationship (especially modern AUs like PLEASE).
