Megatron is too proud actually, way too ashamed to admit that one of the reasons he has sent assassins after Xaaron is because Impactor has clearly lost any romantic interest in him. (Impactor saw him change and Megatron turned into everything he had grown to hate, i.e. corrupt politician who only wants power and doesn’t care who he screws over to get there. This broke Impactor’s heart to see his childhood friend devolve to this, hence why the romance is dead.) Megatron doesn’t understand why Impactor doesn’t love him anymore and keeps lying to himself that Xaaron “seduced” Impactor away from him.

It doesn’t help that Impactor is generally a mech of few words. “No more poetry”. Could this just be Impactor’s frustration over Megatron’s politics, or the fact that Megatron’s once-lighthearted poetry had become tainted with corrupted politics that it killed their artistic beauty, hence why they are no more? The answer is straightforward…but not for Megatron.

Fortunately for Megatron, Optimus still loves him. But then Optimus is fortunate to have never have known how Megatron used to be. However, Optimus’ spark is much more forgiving and tolerant than Impactor’s.

Then there is Soundwave, a mech who his clearly out of Megatron’s league. (After all, Soundwave is superior and everyone else is inferior.) Yet Megatron is fortunate-enough to somehow manage to be desirable to Soundwave. Not only that, but also extremely blessed that someone like Soundwave would even be loyal to him in the first place.

Honestly, Megatron has plenty of good reasons to move on, but he cannot.

I've been meaning to finish the next chapter of Companion for over a year, but the subject matter (pregnancy loss) is hard to write about. I promise I haven't given up on it.

The next chapter will be a mixture of both horny and sad, as those feelings don't get neatly segregated in real life. It's likely going to be the longest one by far just because of all the moving parts.

okay i gotta be honest my absolute first thought was "ooh, that would be one hell of a messy fight"so I think that's what I'm going to talk about. Up to you if you think "robots trying to kill each other through the power of incredible violence" qualifies as horny lolol

In terms of direct strength, Motormaster wins by like. not a mile, more than that. Vortex is technically a warframe but he's a helicopter, he's not built to tank damage, and his job is "torture already-defeated enemies", not frontline warfare. Motormaster comes equipped with (if you care to give it to him, anyway, which I do) a full on forcefield to tank damage with, he can tank damage without it anyway, his job is kill people in the field of battle, and he has a really big sword along with the other weapons. If they were fighting in a one-to-one fight with rules then Vortex will always lose.

But, like, baaahahahaaa you just KNOW neither of them are playing by the rules.

In terms of successfully cheating, Vortex wins by a fucking landslide. This guy fucking loves pulling one over on everyone around him and if that means he gets to make Motormaster crash into six walls head on and throw sand in his eyes and glue him to the floor he will. He literally has a glue gun. He will cut your achilles tendons if he can figure out where they are and he will laugh about it. He will get you to grab him exclusively so he can shoot up 50 feet in the air vertically and then shake you loose so you hit the ground really hard. Motormaster, by virtue of being big and strong, is far less accustomed to cheating to get his way and largely is interested in there not being rules so he can do things like "pin you to the ground and pull off your rotor blades and your arms before I kill you," which is typically also not allowed in a bout with rules. (Not that I think Vortex would really mind that, lol.) He is used to having to chase around the rest of his team, but Drag Strip and Wildrider's version of shitty unsportsmanlike cheating behavior in a fight is very different from Vortex's, and Vortex's ability to fly sets him apart from the Stunticons some (i can't remember if they can fly, but they certainly don't default to it).

If you actually put them against each other in a reasonable fight, I'm not sure who I think would win. Depends who got the first couple hits in, I think. They're about evenly matched if you allow cheating, but Vortex can't take damage on as easily as Motormaster, so if Motormaster scores early Vorttex is kind of fucked; Vortex is just also (in my opinion, at least) to go for disabling injuries that are more likely to put you at a continued disadvantage than Motormaster is. I just don't think Motormaster fights like that. He doesn't have to. And, of course, by virtue of being a fucking speedy cheater asshole, Vortex is less likely to be hit than Motormaster overall, Motormaster is just better at walking it off than Vortex is.

Either way, there would be blood everywhere and if you got close enough you could totally score a bunch of purple and teal plating to hang on your wall as a souvenier, so I think no matter who wins, I, personally, am the real winner. I love watching my favorites beat the shit out of each other.
