One of my favorite things about replaying In Stars and Time is the fact that, now that I've seen the official concept art for Loop, I can instantly identify any of Loop's dialogue portraits that feature their Absolutely Fake Smile. Their Seething With Rage expression, if you will. I always get a little horrible thrill every time those portraits come up, because it's always accompanied by some new insight into their character that completely flew over my head the first time.
On a first playthrough, I didn't notice the difference. Loop was just smiling!! Look at how happy and smug they are! But now, I go through their dialogue and realize, "Oh. They are lying through their nonexistent teeth right now." And there is something so incredibly satisfying about that.
