Just my two cents on JK song choices. Have we forgotten they are in songwriting camp? If they are returning to their roots of album trilogies that tell a story, then maybe they are trying to inspire the right emotion to write songs that tell that story. If the story is about pre-military or during military, they are going to have to reach to re-create those emotions because they are all ecstatic to be out right now. Or if they’re going back to the BU then that could also be a reason to be inspired by more melancholy sounds. Just a thought. And sometimes a cake is just a cake. Let the boy live.
