For my Lenten devotion this year I am reading The Fellowship of the Ring alongside @teawithtolkien’s spiritual guide. Though Tolkien’s books don’t function as a strict allegory, they are deeply and deliberately rooted in Catholic spirituality. I am excited to have these hobbits alongside me for the journey!
