@seethefakemuses and I being absolute geniuses were discussing bingqiu vs hualian and landed upon the idea of mu qing and xie lian switching bodies and the antics that would ensue. like xl having to talk hua cheng down while he is having a panic about wanting to mangle mu qing but being unwilling to harm gege's body. mu qing, in xl's body watching this happen and bitching about xl making that expression with his face and nan yang is causing damage to all the realms by throwing a tantrum over not being involved.

Honestly, unless WWX does it first, the only way JC would ever be able to confess to him is drunk and then WWX would just think he's drunk and being silly. So the fact that Q gave us this blessing is going to live rent free in the lofty regions of my chengxian brain.

Also he's drunkenly lamenting like some spinster aunt and I adore that as a vibe.

For the record, I am definitely NOT the founder of this most beloved ship. Like, my tumblr was made in November and I barely register in the tag (shoutout to the longstanding cx crew like @hisohiso). I don't even know how you made this conclusion, but it's flattering for you to associate me with chengxian 🌟😌

As for their chemistry; if you don't see, you don't see it. I'm not out here asking or forcing folks to ship them. I'd personally link you to an entire YT playlist of chengxian amvs that showcase and highlight their peak moments and set their chemistry against some slapping beats but, again, I'm not forceful about these things and the artistry would be lost on you going off the demonstration of brain power in this ask.

In conclusion, I didn't found the chengxian supremacy and would rather die a rotten death than live in the knowledge that some people really read or watch MDZS, see any of Jiang Cheng's and Wei Wuxian's interactions and think "hm yes, big bro vibes only."
