Marc Clark Autism Headcanon

Marc has Asperger Syndrome, but has never been diagnosed as such because his parents have never realized the problem.

He was silent during his baby and toddler years, and began to say his first phrase at the age of four.

Marc is easily scared by new things that come to disturb his routine.

His feelings are really hard to grasp, as his emotionless face makes it difficult for others to understand him, even his family.

Megan is the only one who knows what Marc is thinking about. Being a twin does that for ya.

Megan is an important pillar in Marc's life, like every member of his family, but she is the one with the most important presence.

Marc likes music and interesting sounds, but he hates noises. For example, he loves hearing birds chirping, the sound of waves, or the rain tapping against the window, but he hates car honks, jangling keys, and crowds.

Many people misunderstand his aloofness and silence for shyness.

Has different interests every week. One day, he could be into medicine, and the next day into astronomy, or music. But one thing is sure, it's that during his phases, he is heavily invested and becomes an encyclopedia.

Marc has problems with forming sentences and communicating, so he often takes what he knows to make conversations. It never worked, but it makes Marc comfortable, and his family is not really judging him, so why should he stop ?

When he was a child, Marc often spun on himself in the middle of his and Tony’s room, but because it was often a mess due to Tony’s toys and because Marc wasn’t watching, he often tripped and got bruises on his legs. It took a nasty fall that nearly took an eye out of him for him to stop.

Marc has never learned piano or chess, but he beats everyone when it comes to showing their skills. No one knows how he does it, even Marc himself, especially when there are no pianos and chess boards in the Clark house.

His mind functions very differently. If one asks him how many letters there are in ‘cocoon’, he won’t answer ‘six’, but ‘three’. (If you guess why… I’m not sure that you’ll get a medal).

His favorite kind of animals are canides. He has a stuffed German shepherd named Archie.
