Another BLM organizer has been “swatted” this week. Dr. Melina Abdullah is targeted for co-founding Black Lives Matter organizing in LA. Someone reported a false kidnapping at her address in order to bring a police swat team to her home. No official release yet of the call, but Dr. Abdullah believes there was no call and this was a fear tactic by LAPD. The LA Times has reported on the call but without audio.

Hey CSUNers, in case you didn't receive the email, the campus has released emails and sent out calls about a threat of violence towards our Pride Center tomorrow (Dec 13th). This is now the fourth threat we've received in the last two weeks.

A number of groups have been targeted including:

1) Jewish individuals

2) People of Color

3) Faculty and Staff

And now, 4) The LGBTQ+ community on campus

Many teachers have offered online tests and have changed the dates of their exams to accommodate scared students, but others fail to see the anxiety that these threats have caused and are making their students choose between passing their courses and risking their lives.

This isn't getting enough attention. Our school's leaders have increased police presence but have failed to shut down the school/ actually enforce final rescheduling. Even if the threats are empty words, this should not be taken lightly.

Stay home, everyone. A grade isn't worth your life. If a teacher fails to accommodate you during this week, expose them, report them to their department heads. You deserve better treatment than being forced to put yourself in danger.

I've been thinking alot about what Cal State I want to transfer to and although the closest one to me is CSU San Bernardino, I have bigger dreams of venturing out to other locations (since I don't want it to be my only option). Fullerton is one of them, since it's close to Disneyland and I figured I could do the college program, but I've been having doubts on if I'm right for the position and if I can make it that far.

I’m supposed to graduate this semester but I am so not ready so I added a second major to push my graduation back till spring but honestly I don’t even have any internship yet so I’ll probably never graduate
