CR3 Quick Reacts - Calamity Downfall
Honestly I think having the gods become mortal again to save them from Predathos is such a creative solution. I gasped when they said it in game and I’m still enamored by it. Not only is it creative and a way to perhaps prevent more bloodshed, it would create such an incredible narrative payoff from Downfall. Like if this were pre-written I’d be applauding the writing for such an amazing way to tie that in. It happening in an improv D&D format just reaffirms how great the cast is at storytelling.
Y’all when Asha ripped the throat out of that Archmage? This is the kind of lesbian representation I signed up for.
I can't stop thinking about Cassida
I want to know what she was thinking when she died, I do not trust the Lord of lies to give an accurate depiction.
I want to know how she felt after she died, did she see things differently like the plantar? Where did she go? Did she go to Sarenre, who she had followed in life? or did she truly renounce her? Did the Matron keep her? I think I'd like that. Did she go to some other place for souls who do not tie themselves to any gods in particular? I really hope Asmodius didn't get her somehow.
And I really hope she knows her son survived. I hope that when she stood before the Matron in the realm of death she was told that her son was spared. I hope that she is comforted by that knowledge.
And I wonder what became of the boy, Hallis.
Where on Exandria did the Matron send him?
How long did he survive after the fall?
Did he renounce the gods for the destruction of his home and his people? Or did he revere them for saving him?
If he did follow a God, who did he follow? Did he walk in Sarenre's light, like his mother had? Or did he serve the Matron, his saviour? I imagine they would both shine on him in some ways, Pelor too.
I would just like to remind everyone that this eldritch entity portrayed the Wildmother in Downfall and mere episodes later she gave Orym a vision of a cosmic horror so terrible that a part of him broke inside.
Coincidence?
"IT'S NORMAL WHERE I COME FROM"
BRENNAN SAID THE THING LMAOOOOO
