A burst of interest was a little bit of an understatement when it came to these little spikes of inspiration and motivation that Muffet gets. Today, she was going to art. Not do art, but art. And heck, was she as excited as ever. The girl could already say she even has experience, what with her doodling all over her papers (earning her scoldings from teachers every now and then)! This teen was more than ready to dive into the wonderful world of visual arts.
Cracking the door to the art club open, she took a little peek inside with one eye. Of course, it was for sure noticeable that the door suddenly opened to reveal a single brown eye with winged eyeliner peeking through. How awkward!
Stumbling through the door, shoving her whole body forward, she greeted the members--who were staring at her, giving her that look-down--with a cheery smile and a giant string of words. “H-hi! Sorry I came in so weirdly! Haha, kinda looked like I was spying on y’all, no? Heh, anyways, I’m Muffet Elillia, and I was hoping to join the art club! It looks like so much fun and I’m really hoping to learn from you guys! See, I’ve done a bunch of crafty things before like crocheting, embroidery, even polymer clay and such! I thought, ‘heck, why not give visual arts a try!’ And here I am! Sorry to barge in unexpected, but I do hope y’all’re lookin’ for more members! Because here I am...and yeah..!” What a mouthful!
Just as Muffet was about to start off on another tangent, she paused, noticing the boy in the corner of the room in front of an easel. His back was facing her, so she was able to get a good view of the painting standing in front of him, and stood in awe before rushing over to him, nearly tipping over a sculpture (which he remarked “Oops!” at).
“That looks absolutely stunning!” she commented, her eyes shining like stars. “Teach me teach me teach me!! Please!! Omg, you’re so good! I want to be just like you! But, with my own style, of course. So not just like you, but yeah! Something like you! Okay, not exactly that, either, but you get what I mean!”
