11. tell us about your first crush?

OOF, an irl pal, neither of us knew we were gay at the time but it eventually came to light within the past few years?

12. what sort of advice do you have for lgbtq teens?

Basically, to not rush things?? It’s okay to be unsure of who you are (it’s taken me years to come to terms with parts of my identity and I’m still not sure of myself) and that it’s okay to question who you are. Surround yourself with positive people who will love you no matter what, too.

14. how do you feel about the term “coming out”?

I do think it’s a good way to describe how it feels to announce your identity. However, maybe this isn’t so related to the term but the act itself, but there seems to be a lot of pressure to “come out” in lgbt+ circles, and in some cases, being closeted is the better choice, unfortunately. I almost lost my relationship with my family after they took my coming out poorly.
