@calcifer-schmidt:
Schmidt just scoffed at her as she laid on her prison cell bed, hunched up in the cold platnium corner, “You only won because Kuvira didn’t have the guts to finish off the Avatar…” she grumbled under her breath quietly. The ex-Captain whinced harshly, placing a hand on her hip, looking down she noticed blood seeping through her bandages and prison clothes.
Covering it back up with her hand, she looked back up at Suyin, her hate for the women still strong, “I don’t know what you’re talking about..I am me, I’ve always been the same..” she spoke completely in denial, though trying to think about what she meant made her heart tremble and her head ache.
“It doesn’t matter anyway, I don’t even know why you’re here other then to rub your victory in my face and to make sure that I, Kuvira and the rest of us rot in prison..” Schmidt said now looking away from the older Beifong.
“I didn’t win,” Suyin pointed out with a harsh voice and crossed her arms over her chest. “There are no winners nor loosers in wars. Just witnesses of the damage caused by those who sought too much power,” she spoke, her tone filled with determination.
“I’ve always said that I believe in second chances. But show no remorse or guilt for the crimes you commited, and perhaps you do deserve to rot in jail with no chance for redemtion,” she added, voice slightly softer then before. After all, Suyin didn’t come there to start a fight, so she had no intention of getting caught up in an argument.
“Believe what you want, but I didn’t come here to rub any victory in your, Kuvira’s or anyone’s faces.”
