The Polarissima Cluster, C1 // Piotr_Strama@@
Because the Polarissima Cluster is located so far north and so far away, it is actually further from the center of the Milky Way than the Sun is. This means it hasn't undergone many interactions with the Milky Way's disk which has kept it around for about 6.8 billion years. This means the Polarissima Cluster is one of the oldest open clusters known!
