Outlander themed wagons are now touring Scotland and the UK.

さて6月の旅の話

憧れの寝台列車、カレドニアンスリーパーに乗車。

夜の21時頃ロンドンを発って翌朝10時頃スコットランドのフォートウィリアム着です

しっかり寝て、ふと目が覚めたグラスゴー辺りからの

窓からの眺め！

という口の形のまんま、流れていく絶景を見つめてました

The Lazy Train

I saw starlight express last month and now there's a train oc skating through my thoughts. Anyway this is Cally, the Caledonian Sleeper engine. Facts below.

She's a diesel electric hybrid. Not the same as a converted engine, she runs on both fuel sources.

Most of the Wembley yard are unaware she's an engine. They only know her as the coma coach. This is because Callys favourite activity is sleeping. Once she finds a semi horizontal surface she's dead to world. Many a coach has tripped over her. They think she's lazy and don't like the idea of having to pull her on their trains.

The other city runners have the opposite opinion of her. The Azumas are terrified of her. The Caledonian Sleeper train ru s for up to 13 hours non stop and it's the longest passenger trip in the UK line. They call her the Endurance Engine.

Cally herself is a very chill engine. She's rather wise when she's awake and while most of her social life is spent dreaming, when she's on the track she's a hard worker. She is however too lazy to correct any of the rumours about herself. That's too much hassle for this Scottish gal.

She has a very weird vocal call. Because she's a hybrid she doesn't have a full roar like a diesel but she also doesn't humm like a pure electric. She has a very bizarre mix of the to. She sounds like deep static and it scares most coaches/freight. Her carriages are used to it by now.
