Yiro’s been living with me for about a month now and already I can’t imagine life without her. I’ve wanted to adopt a cat for as long as I can remember and every morning when she greets me it feels surreal. Everyone tell her how cute she is RIGHT NOW

A memorial painting of my beloved cat who passed away suddenly in November. I miss her awfully every day and I have had only a small amount of days without tears since her passing, she was my best kitty friend. Grief is difficult.

That said, she is a truly magical soul. I have no doubt that we will meet again, among stardust.

For today's Zooly Art Challenge cat prompt, I present you with this dilute calico tabby! She was going to be a seal point Thai cat, but I realized I don't have the right color Copic for the pale tan/gold just yet. That's okay; I've known many lovely calicos in my lifetime. And she was a lot of fun to color in either way.
