Then you get into the godly side of things; Poseidon, Hestia, Amphitrite, Triton, Benthskymene, Rhodes, Kymopoleia, Tyson, Chiron

and then going into the nature spirits? Grover wouldnt miss it for the world, Juniper is right next to him cheering, Eudora is there because she was his guidance councillor and percy personally asked her to be there. Coach Hedge and Mellie and Chuck are there because thats one of Coach’s “cupcakes”

and thats not even getting into Camp Half-Blood AND Camp Jupiter watching the graduation via Iris Message and screaming as their friend and hero walks the stage and gets his diploma

I was having a pretty good day, and then I remembered that Coach Hedge and Mellie blamed Jason Grace for the whole Jiper breakup and treated him like trash. Calling him "That... boy," as if Pookie hadn't been objectified enough during his life.

There was also a rumour going around Reddit that apparently Jason moved to that all-boys boarding school because Hedge and Mellie didn't want him around Piper because he's already hurt her enough, and they were genuinely making him uncomfortable, and making him feel unsafe/uneasy around them.

I'm sorry, but weren't Hedge and Mellie supposed to be Piper and Jason's legal guardians while the pair were finishing up high school???? Guardian doesn't mean siding with one and kicking the other out of the house. Especially if they are two teenagers whose breakup is their business and not yours.

(P.S. Why didn't Piper ever correct them? Like, its stated in the books that Piper let Coach and Mellie (And everyone else), believe that Jason broke up with her. Honestly, ToA Piper was such an L.)

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they neglected or just ignored Jason completely for his last week or 2 with them before Jason finally left.

Kochanski in OG Ace's universe attempts the Keiko O'Brien method of proposing an open marriage to one's spouse by dropping hints and encouraging Spanners to spend more time with Ace because they have a great connection and he really enjoys Ace's company and it's totally fine by her if he has a lot of affection for Ace, you should invite Ace over and, hey, maybe we can invite Mellie too, if you don't mind that, but Spanners does not pick up on her signals and has just developed the most unnecessary guilt over his feelings for Ace, looking wistfully at him before looking down to his wedding ring and thinking about his wife and kids and how much he loves them, how he wouldn't be unfaithful towards them, no matter how much he thinks about the way Ace's hand feels resting on his shoulder or patting his back after a successful flight, that this is a burden he will bear alone and bear happily for the sake of his family, even as Kochanski's all but blatantly rooting that they make out. Ace doesn't notice any of this because he is too busy looking for the first opportunity to nobly blow himself up
