whats up w kikis ears?

So one of her ears is kind of....crinkled? Scrunched? In a way? Not sure how to fully explain it. But basically I adopted her with her ear that way. I know the house she came from (before the shelter) had a lot of other animals, so there are two theories as to what happened:

1. Another animal bit her, likely before the shelter

2. She had mites when she was younger and it affected her ear

Okay but y'all you don't understand how much I love this picture.

But my wrist says "Ohana" which, yes, is a Lilo and Stitch reference but it was also a sister tattoo with my sister. That being said, I have been with Kiki for roughly 8.5 years (she's roughly 9.5 years old). She has been with me through SO much it's ridiculous, and sometimes she has been the sole reason for me to stay alive. Kiki is truly a phenomenal emotional support animal for me, and I truly have no idea what I'd do without her. Kiki is probably my closest family. No, she's not blood-related, but everyone has their own built-family (made family? CHOSEN FAMILY THAT'S THE WORD).

Lately I've been concerned about Kiki. There are some things going on with her that worry me, but we have appointments for her coming up. I need her to be okay, because Kiki is one of the best family members I have ever had.

Moi boas, Gatuchinhos! Onte foi día de visita veterinaria para Lía. Levaba unha pequena tempada no que vomitaba con frecuencia. Como moitos sabedes, Lía ten unha enfermedade dixestiva crónica, pero tiñamos que descartar que tivese algunha doenza a maiores. Os resultados das análises de sangue saíron moi ben, por sorte. O único extrano que se detectou foi un pouco de barro na vesícula nunha ecografía, polo que é posible que haxa unha pequena infección que estamos xa tratando con antibióticos para que se poña boa moi pronto.
