Vesbert is my otp and here is why
Look I always go with the fact Lambert needs a strong hand to get himself out of his head, he needs to know he is loved, and good, and deserving of this life he has because lets face it the snarky bastard has some TRAUMA
But what i rarely play on is the fact that Vesemir also needs this. He was the one that brought these pups up, raised them with training and harsh words that would fortify them on the path. And during this time he lost a part of himself. He lost the caring side as he trained his boys to be resilient. He had to break them, pull out the empathy and softness to give them the best chance, but that broke him too.
So when Lambert finally breaks down, begs to be told what to do, to be taken out of his head and given orders that will ground him and give him peace, Vesemir finds something he thought burnt out of himself centuries ago.
He finds peace in domination, a way to care and give his pup just what he needs. And in turn the love and devotion Lambert gives back slowly knits together that part of his soul.
He loves the way Lambert submits, the way his face goes lax with peace as he is tortured with orgasm control and over stimulation but what he loves best is the softness that brings him, his pup doesn't just need a firm hand but a loving one. He gets to dote on his pup, aftercare is equally his favourite part to the harsh slaps of a needed spanking.
He finds peace in cleaning the tears and snot from Lambert's face, washing away the seed and sweat from his skin and laying in the quiet of their chamber, only the crackles from the fire and the soft snores of his pup curled tight in his arms.
