what are your thoughts on both Katma Tui and Soranik Natu returning in the ongoing Green Lantern Corps run?

my hope and faith in the green lantern franchise--nay, the entirety of humankind--has been restored.

okay but real talk i can't fucking believe we're getting SORANIK NATU REAPPEARANCE in the big 2026. genuinely anything could happen now. hell, maybe we'll get la fille spectre helen. maybe we'll get that renegade jo mullein space detective ongoing. maybe we'll get a green lantern corps audio drama podcast. hell.

A. Soranik starts appearing as part of the GLC again with no explanation and no one remembers her whole arc of becoming a Yellow Lantern and crashing out BUT we get a Soralande wedding story across several issues of Green Lantern Corps

OR

B. Green Lantern: New Guardians gets a Volume 2 in which Soranik goes on a redemption arc and becomes a truly heroic Yellow Lantern BUT this is all happening as a background B-plot while the main story focuses on Tim Drake with a Green Lantern ring

favorite thing about them: am i being biased if i said my favorite thing is him being vietnamese. well in that case, i'll say i love his ao dai <3 bro is serving CUNT!!!

least favorite thing about them: his anger issues tbh! he's a little bit of a reckless, dumb teenager. can't say it's any worse than other teen characters (in fact, some of my personal distaste comes from the fact that this is a really cliche trait for teen boy main characters) but i'd love to see him mature!

favorite line: had to reread a bit of gl legacy to find a quote but i came across this part and felt genuine chills (even if it's a tad corny, i love it!)

brOTP: i like him with any of his friends <3 especially with serena and irey west!

OTP: i'm ngl i don't really ship tai with anyone...

nOTP: i would be okay with tai getting with irey, i feel like they're lowwwwkey setting up for that maybe? so even tho i don't ship tai with anyone, i wouldn't say i have any nOTPs for tai either tbh!

random headcanon: tai pham is a trans girl egg TO ME okay!!!! and it's NOT because of his green lantern uniform ao dai being a dress, at least not in the sense that u probably r thinking, it's that the way he's specifically wearing the ao dai he designed has a longer hem which is conventionally more feminine (at least, from what i've seen). also he's originally uncomfortable with his initial uniform, which for him is "too tight"! hmmmmm!!!

unpopular opinion: idk if this is unpopular but i would love for him to have more of a personality beyond archetypical teen boy character tbh LMAO. (but i think the warmth and care put into his themes more then makes up for that!)

...it's red. it's definitely red. it's red and green. i'm so clever, i know. yellow does look good on her, though not as good as green does, i think. i also associate her with lavender because of a certain character she's always around :)
