~ HOW TO REQUEST ~

updated request info! to request, please send me an ask with the following:

a quote of one to two short phrases (swears are fine, but absolutely no slurs or hate speech of any kind. duh.)

the author of the quote (if applicable)

your preferred calligraphy style - bâtarde or gothic (examples above)

all requests are FREE and will be posted when complete. if i decide i don’t like a request, i won’t do it. simple as that. 

NEW: if you would like to buy the original calligraphy, you now can! all i ask is $5 to cover any shipping/envelopes/stamps etc. just message me :) 

i do take commissions! if you’re interested in a larger piece of calligraphy, illumination, or illustration, please message me!

So I recently discovered calligraphy...

As in I just bought a starter kit last night and I'm already obsessed.

So I'm going to open requests for small things in lower case font (bc aesthetics)!

Now is as good a time as ever to say that I am taking calligraphy requests int the form of asks!

Keep them no shorter than five words OR 35 characters, as I am still practising and mastering my craft.

So far, I am NOT taking commissions, only requests. And these will be crossposted on my public Instagram (@sonnet_420).
