The Unique Life after Getting Married
I didn't do the whole chores when I was young. My mom and dad are working outside. They gave the duty to some maids. So here we go. Marriage life is so different from my perfect young adult life. It's more than perfect but I should face many different things. What would you do if you were in my position? face the transition from full working wife to full stay-at-home-wife?
I was a full working wife plus homemaker after getting married with a wonderful man. I admit it was so complicated even though I haven't had kiddos yet. I got through messy days because I couldn't make enough time for every single home duty. I focused on working outside and so did he.
Time flies and finally I give up. I quit the job. Even I didn't have much quality time with family at that time. I hope this is the best decision I've got in my entire life. I did work because I used to it. I automatically worked after graduated. It seems like a habit for me.
I leave job when we had 4 a half years marriage. Now we have 5 years together and forever. My husband is a mechanical engineer. Budgeting is not the problem for us so we decided to turn our life path.
Nowadays I'm enjoying my new life as a housewife. I need more time than others if we play comparison.
Even though housewife's duty is on a whole day but I can manage how I just do it a bit in the morning and evening. These are what I am doing.
1. Wake up in the morning mostly at 5. Make a bed, declutter.
2. Cooking the simplest food for breakfast
3. Wash dishes
4. Wipe everything that needs to be wiped
5. Sweep and mop
6. Clean the bathroom
7. No texting, scrolling on social media during this morning routine.
8. Do your hobby, take a nap or watching tv shows if you've done the job.
Your home will stay being clean if you put everything in the right place. In the evening you just sweep and do nothing. If you have children it will be different but at least I share how to do your chores without feeeling overwhelming. What's your routine on a whole day?
