Sooo I was scrolling thru instagram and I saw a reel about which plants one could add to create a goth garden—it was beautiful by the way—and I thought:
"I can't grow a garden but I can maintain a flower vase."
And I just... sat like that for a moment, with my phone replaying that reel over and over, not really acknowledging it. It just hit me how easy it is to use and throw things away and how hard it is to let them grow.
It feels a little poetic.
I don't have the time/patience/understanding to grow a simple plant and care for it, but I can put a dying one in my room as decoration and throw it away when I have no need of it.
Do you get what I mean?
