There marriage had never exactly been a walk in the park, with living apart, building their careers and such, but the last few months had been harder than Mason ever could’ve imagined a marriage could be. Although he had been no angel, given his feelings for his best friend, the bombshell of Cam’s one night stand and rocked the couple to their foundations and even though he had agreed to move past it and work on their marriage, he could still feel the disconnect, a disconnect that he was determined to work on. He had promised to make her happy for eternity, after all.
Having left the practice in the capable hands of his colleague, Mason, in a fresh shirt and pink rose in one hand, pushed open the door to the practice Cam worked in. "Hi, I’m Mason French, is it cool if I just wait for my wife to finish up? Camelia French-Delgado?” Mason took a seat in the waiting room, making himself comfortable to wait for his wife. As he lay the flower on his knee, he was struck with how long it had been since he had done something simple like meet her from work. He had always made himself so busy that sometimes, they’d go days without seeing each other. Muttering under his breath, Mason shook his head. “You’ve got a lot of making up to do, boy.” @camfdelgado
