So the list is a Google Group you have to join, which you can do by clicking the 'join group' button here--it's the blue button right below the group name. That'll bring up a dialog--make sure that before you hit 'join this group,' you make sure you've selected the subscription option that'll give you all the email updates on the drop-down there, so you can see the pinch-hits as they come up.
