Did you know that this whale NKW-752 (www.norwegianorca-id.no), is the orca star that carried the camera tag for BBC to film underwater from an orca perspective? The camera tag was attached using suction cups and remained on the whale for several hours. Precious data retrieved include footage but also high resolution diving data for research. We've known this whale for several years now with encounters in both winter and summer. To be sure to remember his special role for Blue Planet II, we've named him 'Blue'!
