Failed Avoidance II Closed
As Declan walked through the entryway of the mansion, some part of him was astonished by the building. He knew there were rich families inside of Mirror Lake. In fact, he had heard from his father about how rich the Clarks, Greys, and Robbins were. His father said they were extravagant families that didn’t know what the word excessive meant. He didn’t know what he was expecting when he walked into the house, but it was not what he saw.
Iza lead him through the house showing him what she had done, and Declan tried to pay attention, but it felt so excessive. He couldn’t believe how much money that they had spent on that home. It felt more like a show of money than it felt like a home.
When she wandered off to talk to Cameron and his mother, presumably to talk to them about her future working with them, Declan wandered off. He had heard that Cameron and Rosie were hard to get along with, and he knew he had a bit of a temper. He knew he couldn’t handle a conversation with either of them. He decided for the benefit of Iza it was best to keep away from them.
He tried to slink around the background, and the found Niall hiding away too trying to avoid the couple. Unfortunately for Niall, apparently his therapist girlfriend had known them forever. Declan hoped that maybe Cameron and Rosie’s attention would be on Niall.
However, as Declan got himself a drink he heard a familiar voice. He took a deep breath and turned around with the fourth scotch that he had that night and offered another to the person. “Uhhhh hi. What’s up?”
Iza is going to kill me. I’m going to die. This is it. I’m going to die by the hands of Iza’s friends.
