Do you think Merulo ever found out that Cameron refused to betray him?

When Cameron confesses to Merulo (under the effect of the truth seal), "I would...betray you. To save myself", I immediately knew that later in the book we would get a reversal.

Sure enough, when Glenda offers Cameron time in exchange for Merulo's secrets, he refuses. And nowhere in the rest of the book does Merulo learn of this. Seeing as Glenda couldn't even get Cameron's last words right when relaying them to Merulo, I doubt that she told him.

Anyway, that feels like a fanfic opportunity.
