Day Nine – Speed Date [4/5]
Every date so far with the added romantic aspects had gone so well, until it came to the date with Jack. I mean, he seemed like he was into the change of direction but so many times throughout our date he walked off to the bar without a word. It really left me wondering.

Day Three – Speed Dates [1/7]
I started off the morning of speed dates with coffee with Jack. He’d told me he’d spent his whole life working on his family’s farm, so I wasn’t surprised to see he was the first one up. I was pretty happy with that fact too, as I knew his personality would make the awkwardness of a ‘first date’ almost irrelevant.
Jack is such a smooth talker, and that southern accent does him huge favours. I’ve always like talking to new people but I don’t think it’s ever been as easy as it is with him. But before I knew it, time was up and I had to go meet Jason at the library.

Day Three – Speed Dates [1/7]
After the train wreck with Myles, I was glad I only had one more speed date to go. I met Warren at a park not far from where we’re all living and went along with it when he suggested chess. At least if the date bombed, I could test my logic skills.
But, I’m happy to report that it went a lot better than the date with Myles. We chatted so much that I think we moved four chess pieces between us in the two hours we were sitting there. I definitely felt like I knew him better when it came time to head back home.

Day Seventeen – Vacation – Selvadorada with Michael [2/3]
While we dried off, we went to the marketplace for supplies for our venture into the jungle later and spent a surprisingly long time sitting together on a bench by the communal garden. He’s so easy to be around and I am really falling.
We ventured into the jungle, but we didn’t go too far, just to be on the safe side. Even just the edges are amazingly beautiful. Michael seemed to think so too, when he stopped looking at me and enjoyed the view instead.

Day Nine – Speed Date [5/5]
After how well the karaoke venture went, and how much more relaxed Jason was around the house since, I thought I’d push his comfort zone a little again by heading out for late night bowling – and, again, he had a blast. We had such an amazing time and the kiss felt so right.

Day Eighteen – Vacation – Granite Falls with Kyler [1/3]
I really wasn’t surprised that Kyler suggested we go camping at Granite Falls, and I was excited to go there for the first time. We set up the tent and then headed up to the top of the lookout in the park.

Day Eighteen – Vacation – Granite Falls with Kyler [2/3]
Because Kyler had been there before, he knew all the best, most beautiful spots. The lake was stunning, and having the place all to ourselves had Kyler in the best mood. He’s so much fun to be around and while I had a blast learning to fish from him, I had more fun distracting him from teaching me.
We headed back to the campsite and had a late lunch by the fire. This place was no Selvadorada, but it was incredibly beautiful in its own way. Kyler went off on his own for a little while, but it gave me time to do a little exploring.

Day Twelve – Solo Date Speed Dates [4/4]
Because Kyler has such a love for the outdoors and a knack for setting things on fire, I thought he’d like to go back to the Bluffs again but this time for a bonfire. He definitely saw the funny side of my suggestion and we had such a fun, laidback date that took a turn for the romantic at the right moment.
|| @lotusplum I honestly have no idea how he’s hung in there through all his antics and with that Loner trait! But I’m glad because they’re so cute. ||
