The angels/heven/hell mythology is the only reason SPN came into my radar. That and Mark Shepard as Crowley(?). I put up with S1. At what point do the angels come in and make me forget/ignore all about the damsels in distress?

angels come in at season 4 and everything ~escalates~ from there. actually that's sort of a spoiler for the first episode of s4 which i still maintain has ONE OF THE BEST INTRODUCTIONS OF A NEW CHARACTER EVER it is literally electric. but yeah, it starts off rather cryptically but picks up from there (and oh no now i really want to rewatch season 4 because wow that was a really really really good season).

Excessively bad writing is what happened in season 6 & 7. All I can remember is that I'm still really mad that they created a female "big bad" and it turned out she wasn't the season's "big bad" because Castiel was???

idk if it was the changes in the writing team or what but just. so much so wrong so fast!!! i just. don't even want to think about it and go on pretending like it never happened.

SPN 6.20 “The Man Who Would Be King” was one of the few eps from that season worth watching imo

i think i did watch that one actually. i remember it was really pretty but at that point i was so scarred that even all of their justification and pretty scenery and angel pov episodes could not please me or salvage anything from the damage :||| but then fortunately s8 came along

boooo!! /throws stones!! /glances at own tumblr full of Castiel adoration ok ok you caught me I did it for the vine. (tbh I haven't finished s5 or s8 completely and I've only seen maybe 1 or 2 eps from s6-7, which by all accounts I shouldn't regret.)

lolol sorry cam. the funny thing is that i don't at all dislike the brothers/their story/etc? i just couldn't deal with THREE SEASONS x 20+ episodes of the same angst over and over and over again (and i mean generally, that's still a thing 8 seasons later but all the other stuff that's going on makes it more palatable). castiel is a great addition but i really love all the complexity and the baggage (LOL ENTIRE GARRISONS WORTH) that he brings with him. i felt seasons 5 & 8 were really entertaining/ well put-together for the most part. some of my favourite episodes in this show ever are from those two (in fact, 5x08 "changing channels" and 8x08 "hunteri heroici" are up there as some of my favourite episodes in tv land because of how brilliant and stylistically/experimentally/creatively unique they were, even all the angel lore notwithstanding).

1. First impression:ZORO ZORO ZORO. Holy shit her Zoro is amazing. HE IS FANTASTIC. I want to throw all the tanukis at him. And omg OOCly she is hilarious and clever, I like this "Cam" person very much :D

2. Truth is: This impression has not changed much! Somewhere along the way we simply added Mass Effect and Shakarian feels into the mix. You are incredibly intelligent, so, so sweet, and you have amazing insight into so many things. I could talk to you forever once we get a topic really going.

4. Have you ever made me laugh: Oh man, the better question is have you ever not. I said this to KJ already, but back when we RPed with our One Piece cast in Luceti, our chemistry was awesome. The way we could make each other laugh almost effortlessly was one of my favorite things ever.

The pictures are very very pretty yes good but I want to know what they're saying to each other and how much it will break my heart sob ;_;

SO VERY PRETTY. this might be one of my biggest project k problems i am just saying (even though lbr i mostly just need them translated so that i can proceed to cry even harder than i already do about them)

Who I hate them with:  >_> Tali. Honestly, knowing it becomes canon if you don’t romance either of them, I tried getting into it! I really did! But whether I turned my head sideways and squinted or attempted to come up with tooth-rottingly sweet headcanon, I just could not get behind it. Period. I absolutely love their non-romantic dynamic, which is full of petty but lighthearted bickering, and they remind me so much of a pair of siblings that I just can’t do it. (And just to clarify, I’m not a GRRR GARRUS IS MINE kinda gal :T in fact, if Shep weren’t dating him for whatever reason, I’d love to see him with Dr. Michel!)

Why I like/hate them:  Oh my god it would take less time for me to calculate the planetary mass of every object in our solar system. Backwards. WITH AN ABACUS. Let’s try summarizing it in one sentence: From the day you take down a couple punks in a clinic to the final moment, the final breath when fire is raining from the sky and the galaxy is balanced in your faltering footsteps and the echoes of kingdoms risen and fallen thousands of times over are echoing in your ears, screaming for vengeance and for and end to this timeless war - he’s always there if you need him.

Favourite physical feature:  oh my god his VOICE. …that counts as a physical feature, right?

Least favourite quality in the character:  Sometimes he’s so bullheaded and impulsive that I just want to shoot him out of the airlock. But I think Javik might enjoy that too much, so he’ll have to settle for a lot of nights spent on the couch.

3 Headcanon’s:  1) He and Sidonis were very close before, well…you know. They would share stories about their time in boot camp, their first postings, their favorite commanding officers. Sidonis was always enraptured by Garrus’ stories of Shepard, and conferred to him that he wished he could have met her before she died. An irony that did not slip past Garrus when he asked for her help in hunting him down. 2) In the events between ME2 and ME3, when Garrus had a bit of downtime to fret about his relationship with Shepard, he tried to ask his sister Sol for advice about dating. NEVER. AGAIN. 3) He actually has really poor taste in music. Most of those songs listed in his visor? Like, the turian equivalent of obnoxious pop and bad dubstep. It’s really embarrassing.

My OTP for said character:  DO I NEED TO SAY IT AGAIN OR SHOULD I JUST TATTOO IT ON MY CHEST AND GO AROUND DRAMATICALLY RIPPING OPEN MY SHIRT LIKE SUPERMAN EVERY TIME SOMEONE ASKS

Whoops, and I didn’t even see this until now because I was on my RP account and also watching zetsuen no tempest. Tumblr is totally the best for communication, sigh.

5. aomine/momoi is i think the one (maybe only??) semi-popular ship i can think of that makes me a bit uncomfortable in KnB (i should also add  the disclaimer that i am so behind on the manga that it is pitiful). there's obvs the argument that they're like siblings than anything but, imo, my issue is more that i love their friendship to pieces and i could mayyybe (a huge maybe) even picture them giving it a shot somewhere down the road, i can't see them being 100% happy or healthy in the long-run. normally, i am all over this messy friends-to-lovers trope and can eat up all the associated angst with a spoon but apparently not when momoi is involved because i like aomine a lot but momoi is my girl and i am super protective of her and WANT HER TO BE HAPPY AND HEALTHY ;__; rather than emotionally exhausted and taken for granted and, well, parenting her s.o.

8. more like unpopular attitude than opinion maybe but shipping is really not as big of a deal in this fandom for me as it is for a lot of people from what i've observed? like i ship a hella lot of things, some with more intensity than others, but it's not like super! serious! business! and idk everyone/basketball is my otp of otps i guess (also canon!!! :D)

5. so apparently mikoto/anna was a thing i came across once and yeah that probably takes the cake. i can be talked into shipping mikoto with everything that breathes but she's his baby and even when she's of age, i can't. otherwise, i think i might be drawing a blank??

8. i think i have a lot of character-specific unpopular opinions, such as: i think joining SCEPTER 4 WAS ACTUALLY A REALLY GOOD DECISION FOR FUSHIMI; i think shiro/weismann was a really well-thought out character; i also, as you may have heard me cry about, have essays composed in my head about mikoto + all my issues with some fandom perceptions of him, which will take a more coherent form once i get through the side:red translations again and this time properly but the short version is that i basically want to tear out all my hair and turn into a ragemonster every time i see anyone say he didn't give a shit about homra AUUUUUGHHHH. it pains me physically!
