Some North Shore moments from our Equinox Trip. Crystal Cove, Silver Bay, Finland— Northern MN. Short trip, headed back for more in a few weeks. The leaves were already red in The Superior National Forest but not so much on the lake yet. The Mountain Ash trees were in full bloom and the rest of the wild flowers were in their final stages. The lake was calm on the equinox but rowdy as fuh that next day. Waves over our heads. We were all soaked just from standing on the cliffs and the beach. The wind was so strong that you could lean all the way into it with falling. The first MN snow fell on Saturday night but not until we were already asleep in our tents. In Finland, we mostly had freezing rain.
