This June, I participated in #CampCreate2025! Some of my pieces were inspired directly by summer camp, the outdoors, or just my personal experience. This was so much fun!!

TODAY! #ATL💞 Repost from @blkcelebgiving: Atlanta! Today is the day, please come out from 1-8 PM and support us as we raise funds for the #GivingBoutique #repost by @jasminecrowe "At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in." ~ Mother Teresa *************************************************************** Just said my morning prayer 🙏🏾, I asked God to help us be a blessing to more kids this year. We never have enough uniforms or underwear to fill the need and this event is one that really can help us change that. Yesterday morning while collecting applications for #CampCreate I held back tears in Metro Atlanta Taskforce. I remember last year Infiniti of South Atlanta shuttled the families over to shop, and while I have served right across the street for almost two years, I've been inside twice. Yesterday was my first time seeing where the women and children slept, their living quarters. Many sleep on folding chairs, it was hot, but the kids, wow were they so excited about camp and life in general. They don't have the most of everything, but they find happiness in the little things. What I have watched the #GivingBoutique do for their spirits has changed my life. It may seem so small to us, clothing, shoes, underwear, many take for granted the fact that, shopping is a regular habit; but for these kids, it's a very special occasion. I saw a child with boots and jeans on in 90 degree weather, that's all she had. We are collecting clothing and raising funds from 1-8PM today at 231 Mitchell Street SW in downtown Atlanta. We have sweets and treats for as low as $1, Dj, a photo booth and lots of celebrities, socialites and all around Good People stoping by to support. Please come out and be one of them, I can 100% promise you this, together we change lives and provide homeless youth and families with an experience they are forever grateful for.
