13 Do you have a favorite Band of Brothers episode? Which one and why? i. feel attacked. called out. paraded out into public to air my terrible opinion that: The Breaking Point is the absolute peak of the BoB cinematic universe. i will not be taking any questions at this time. but! my explanation is that it is everyone at their ultimate absolute low (including us! the viewer!) after the ass kick that is bastogne, and then tbp is just a complete sucker punch to round it all off BUT it has a happy ending!!! you go on this quiet suffering journey about how everyones barely hanging in there and it just keeps getting worse until it doesn’t and there’s a big goofy fairytale ending. also joy of my heart light of my life. speirs. (also when i want to watch bob but not rewatch the whole thing i watch bastogne/the breaking point/the last patrol and i think that its one of the best stretches of story telling in the entire series)

14 Do you have a favorite The Pacific episode? Which one and why? i literally. have only ever watched the pacific in fugue state marathoning. i refuse to watch like, one episode at a time and bear the weight of that emotion, so it all blurs together. but uhhhh gun to head 5/6/7 for the same reasons as above but its the tragic version.  also........... andy.................

22 If you could make HBO create another series, what would it be about? o no. if we’re sticking to wwii americans as the chosen content i do not know but i do have some other ideas  a. small scale super personal production just about that time in 1943 a greenland sledge patrol found a hidden german weather station and basically there was an entire chase across greenland in complete isolation b. finland?????? c. just like. female code breaking. or like female spies. literally a woman. any woman. please give us more women.  d. operation tabarin: antarctica, wwii. submarines. theres a lichenologist???? nice. not wwii???? i get speilhanks to just continue the aubreyad post master and commander.

Soooo, the Jays aren’t my Team with a Capital T (PITTSBURGH PIRATES WOO) but I do have warm feelings towards them - I guess you could call me Jays Adjacent. :) A lot of former Pirates have made a home there, so it’s nice to see the Blue Jays doing so well this year.

And good news: they’re also one of the more popular teams on Tumblr. There are a lot of Jays blogs. I interact the most with @bringer-of-snow, @aaronekbald, @atedaryl, and @joshdonaldson, all of whom are absolutely lovely and can undoubtedly give far better direction than I in terms of the best Toronto blogs.
