...First sunday I'm not staying up til 3 am to watch a new episode of twd since I joined the caryl fandom...
And I wish it wouldn't leave me feeling so empty...I wish I still had at least a bit of hope left but I don't. Looking through my old caryl posts hurts more than anything happening on the show because I realize how hopeful and positive I used to be...but there's none of that left. Every caryl post I see on my dash makes me feel stupid for believing for so fucking long when all they did was playing us all along. Every good/positive/teasing thing anyone affiliated with the shit show ever said was just said because they wanted us to keep watching and buy merch and dvds and shit. Caryl wasn't just a ship for me, it was my happy place, c/d's bond gave me so much joy and hope...and now I just feel empty and betrayed.
I don't have twitter anymore but I hope the tags #boycotttwd and #canceltwd are trending tonight.

No matter how much you want to twist what's happening on the show into something good, (because the exeptionally gross problematic writing is actually what's making your ship happen) your ship and your opinion belong in the trash.
