Two weeks away: the Cancer Gets LOST 2016 charity auction, featuring items from an incredible number of your favorite people and shows.
Cancer Gets LOST has opened the bidding for their charity auction one day early! They have an impressive 455 items up for bidding - many of which are signed and/or donated by some of your favorite actors, actresses, and writers - so check it out and start the bidding!
Cancer Gets LOST had their opening reception last night at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, complete with a hatch cake!
And yes, that is THE polar bear, and it will be up for auction in September along with many other props and costumes from the show.
The exhibit will be open for the next few months. More info can be found here and here. All pics via @cancergetslost.
Are you a LOST fan living in the Los Angeles area? Join us this Sunday (April 13) from 3pm – 5pm for a casual reception at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, which has just unveiled a brand new LOST exhibit!
The LOST exhibit at The Paley Center features screen-used props, costumes and set pieces exclusively provided by our auction host partner Blacksparrow Auctions – as well as a few items provided by Cancer Gets LOST. A majority of the items featured in this exhibit will be available for you to bid on in our next charity auction, which will open in September! As we mentioned, 100% of the proceeds from all auction items sold on behalf of Cancer Gets LOST will be donated directly to the American Cancer Society, and a portion of all proceeds from the consigned items will also be donated to the ACS!
The exhibit will be open for the next several months, and various LOST items will be rotated in and out every month or so to allow for new props to be on display.
