I’m rewatching Cloak and Dagger (my sister’s watching it for the first time), and everything anyone says about Tandy’s dad just hits different.

Is anyone else really upset at Tyrone b/c of what he said to Tandy? I understand he was trying to tell her that both their lives were hard and maybe he felt that she wasn’t being very receptive to his side (to be fair, neither was he to hers). BUT you should NEVER tell someone who is even jokingly considering suicide to kill them self (really you should never tell anyone to kill them self). I feel like he could have handled the situation a lot better. Maybe offering to get her some help? The whole thing was very upsetting to me, that he pushed her toward that idea instead of away from it.
