This is what happens when someone asks "how many houseplants is too many houseplants?" and the answer is "there is no such thing." The writing desk itself is lovely, Queen Anne style with built-in bookshelves for all those unread classics, but it's being slowly consumed by an indoor jungle. The three-arm lamp is giving "I want ambient lighting but make it look like I'm about to conduct a séance." The pink damask wallpaper and matching curtains are working overtime to create maximum visual impact, and you can practically smell the potpourri and repressed Victorian values. This is peak "I watched too many episodes of Masterpiece Theatre and now my home reflects it."
