TV Talk: Thoughts on Season 5 of RHOP so far...

I know people might not agree, but hear me out. I have been watching this show from the beginning and have always loved Monique, but last season and this season has been making me feel different about her. I think that she used Candiace to get into that green-eyed clique (Gizelle, Robyn, Ashley). Monique and Candiace were quick friends and when she told Candiace about what Ashley did to her (accused her of driving while drunk), and her other messy ways, Candiace stuck up for her. Candiace did go overboard with it and started to harass Ashley and became the bad guy of the group. When this happened Monique decided to quickly forgive Ashley like nothing ever happened and she slowly started to get in the clique’s good graces, while Candiace was the one no one liked and everyone thought was childish. Candiace is looking at Monique sideways like how can you make up with Ashley so fast after I stuck up for you and called her out. That's when their first falling out was. They quickly made up at the reunion and after that is when Gizelle, Charisse, and her ex-friend were plotting on her (claiming that she was cheating on her husband and that her youngest child was not his). She found out about it but never confronted Gizelle or Charisse (who actually revealed the rumor on the show) she always ran away. When Candiace invited Charisse to her party, Monique was irritated but never addressed it. It wasn't until Monique and Gizelle went to lunch and Gizelle put that bug in her ear, is when she decided to be passive-aggressive with Candiace. She didn't care that Gizelle was the one who was plotting against her and revealed the rumor on the show because she wanted to be her friend. So she flips on Candiace because she thinks she is still the least liked and weakest one in the group, but don't realize that her passive aggression is only making her look worse. So she fights Candiace after bottling in her issues with her thinking the green-eyed clique would support her, but in fact, they turn on her.
