Wildlife fences designed to keep wolves away from livestock is not always wolf proof. Wolves are clever, and pretty good climbers as well!

Last year, Fenris - the breeding male of the Østmarka pack, found his way through such a fence and killed sheep. Also, (at least) one of the wolves of the Sawtooth pack (Chemuhk I think) managed to climb the fence around her enclosure. Both of these fences were electric.
