candidcanines answered: I never go without K9 Advantix on my dogs because we live in the woods and fleas/ticks are terrible! We use Advantix all year except in the Winter when it’s cold. We’ve thankfully never had any fleas/ticks!
I normally use the Advantix too (Frontline for the pup was something I’d been given and just hadn’t had the occasion to use). I’ve had good luck with it, but its been over a year since I’ve last had to use any. I seem to recall it working fast, and the dogs stop scratching pretty quickly, but this time Ridley just wont stop scratching :/
I’ve got some “Natural Chemistry” (the “natural” one) flea/tick spray that I sprayed on him this morning to see if that helps. Says it shouldn’t interact with topicals, maybe it’ll catch anything that’s jumping on him before it gets a bite in.
