A Little Something (1990)
“Keep your Filthy Hands off our Baroness!!”
HEY! I’m uploading cuphead art finally!! Yay! more coming? Hopefully there is, I’m super proud of the result of this, I hope you guys like it too!
A handful of filmmakers and performers who I’ve taken pictures of in the past few months, some of them during the BFI’s Animation 2018 season. I’ve taken quite an advantage of independent travel.
She's My Best Friend (And I Hate Her) (2023) [4 min] by Candy Guard | UK
Great Northern Festival
I had to sit through an entire talk with four different animators. I had taken notes and have put down some key points to learn from them. It took place on Saturday and we had to be in the Media factory.
Candy Guard
With her, We had to talk and watch on of her animations. She has a website that contains all of her work, even they work she had done when she went to college. She had explained that she was nerves about her first experience and how it had underestimated her.
Later, she had been teaching us how to write our own scripts. We had fun with it when we practised on a game called “Consequences”.
David Bunting
He is a storyboard artist. He has taken over an hour to explain the road he had taken to do all of his storyboards for other animated shows e.g. Dennis the menace.
Then we had to work on how to make a storyboard ourselves. We have done this based on a Hitchcock film called “Rope”. The film had not cut scenes or transitions, so our job was to make up our own for the film.
Jamie Badminton
Jamie is an animation producer. He has shown us and talked to us about “Sarah and Duck”. He has explained about the backgrounds created from Photoshop. He also explained the origin story of where the idea had come from.
Timon Dowdeswell
Timon was a stop motion animator. Unfortunately, he was unavailable so a women named Linda McCarthy had taken the spot light for him. She has presented her work to us from her animated film called “Song birds singing”.
