✿hot summer; jinri&
The weather was humid and sweltering, stifling in Jinri’s opinion. Splashing some cool water on her face, she decided this was no day to be spent indoors. Besides - what’s the point of having a pool in summer if no one uses it? It would be sinful to let it go to waste. Especially with such lovely housemates.
She entered the bedroom and rummaged through her drawers, inhaling the scent of lavender. A little sprig keeps the laundry nice and fresh. Finding her favourite bikini, she slipped it on an admired herself in the mirror. Perfect. Time to find some company. Jinri strolled down the stairs in her flip flops, making a beeline for their colourful living room. She opened the door and admired the view.
“Hey, want to join me by the pool for a drink?” she chimed flirtaciously, placing a hand on her hip, “It’s a lovely day and if that’s not enough, well, I make a mean margarita!”
"Hmmm.... Anyone up for a game of truth or dare?"
"Cos good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught."
Arrival || Hi x (open)
Hayi frowned and tried to block out the taxi driver's constant babble, leaning her head against the window. Normally she would've loved for a conversation, but having to wake up at such an ungodly hour (ten was way to early to be up if you had a killer hangover) and catch a train then a taxi didn't make for a happy Hayi. Finally, the long drive was over and Hayi quickly payed the driver, mumbling for him to keep the change. She grabbed her suitcases out the of boot, mentally cursing for packing so much. Was it even necessary? Probably not. With a sigh and a grumble, Hayi grabbed her luggage and walked up to the Candy house. She dumped one of her bags onto the ground and pressed the doorbell and waited, wincing from the loud noise.
❝ First Day Blues ❞ ╿ Minhee x _______
The cab ride to the Candy Shop was more than awkward. Minhee was never one for making small talk, but the cabbie obviously hadn't picked up on that because he kept trying to ask her questions about what she did for a living, where she was heading, and where she came from. Not that she was antisocial, but the female was no chatty Kathy, especially when it came to strangers. With a heavy sigh, Minhee decided to ignore the driver, looking out the window instead. His babbling continued, but she was no longer listening. It wasn't long before the car slowed to a stop, as did the numbing drone of his voice. It took Minhee several seconds to realize that they were parked in front of the house, and the cabbie was looking at her through the rearview with his eyebrows arched. "Well, here it is. Nice place." The man's face turned up in a smirk, but Minhee ignored it as she climbed out of the cab and retrieved her luggage from the trunk. Minhee looked up at the house and nibbled on her bottom lip, before glancing down at her luggage. Maybe she should've packed lighter. Now seeing how far she had to drag her bags, she regretted her choice of black stilettos that were already beginning to make her feet ache. She dug in her pocket, pulling out a wad of cash as she approached the driver's side of the cab and leaned over to hand it to the cabbie, who took it and wished her luck before speeding off and leaving the young tattoo artist in a cloud of dust.
"I hope you're ready," Minhee was looking at her pedicured feet, but she knew the statement was directed more to herself in general, not just to her heels. She'd never lived with anyone before, and now she was going to be sharing a house with god knows how many other girls. How was she going to survive with that much estrogen in one house? Minhee shook her head, forcing the thought out of her mind. She was not going to come into this house with a bad attitude. She refused to let it be her disadvantage.
Minhee had nearly made it to the house, with just a few more steps to go, and her feet were ready to be soaked in a nice, hot bath. She groaned as she lugged the heavy bags up one step at a time, biting down on her lip hard as if that would somehow help her arms that were struggling to hold all of the luggage at once. One false step, and Minhee felt her legs give out. Suddenly, she was airborne, The bags slipped from her hands, and it seemed like she was falling in slow motion. She could see it happening, but couldn't stop it. So, the ground stopped it for her. The girl landed flat on her back, knocking the breath from her lungs and slamming her head against the land. The luggage seemed to explode when it hit the ground, flying open and showering Minhee in her own clothes. "Great," She muttered as she watched the articles landing scattered all around her, before a pair of lacy, black panties floated down and landed right on her face.
