that romps through the dark
I recently got glow in the dark stars for my walls!! I instead put them on my ceiling but in the form of constellations!!
Heres is the canis major and minor(the majors pic is so bad cuz it's right next to my light... oops...)
I then have my star sign( I'm a cancer) and Orion!! It's super cool and fun to do this!! I also will be adding the Ursa major and minor(big and little dipper!!(big dipper will be outlined in a different color and i might outline minor in two colors))tomorrow! I just ran out of time today
If I have extra stars I'll take recommendations btw!! Just comment or send in asks!(I might even buy more stars just cuz this is fun)
This has been fun to talk to Rocky and Adrian about btw!! Teaching them about our constellations and how they came to be/ the story behind them has been cool!(it's also been learning experience for me at times haha...)
Sorry for the glare... but if you can't tell we were looking at Orion!!
silly constellations i drew a few months ago
Will we have the chance to read Marvolo's conversation with Voldemort in Canis Major as well? It would be really interesting to see that moment from Voldemort's POV.
Yes, we will see the scene in Canis Major.
here, a little snippet:
---
The child looks like her. And yet, when the boy realises he’s been caught and he whirls around, Voldemort can recognise Sirius in him, too.
It angers him to see proof of that marriage, to see the fruit of it, alive, not just in a picture.
The eyes are Sirius’ and…the anger mixes with something else. Painful, unwanted, a foreign feeling blooming in the pit of his stomach.
The boy is unnaturally tall for his age, looks like he should be at Hogwarts already. Voldemort noticed the other children as they fled, and this boy was towering over the others. Yet his features are still very childish, and his eyes widen with fear.
Sirius’ eyes.
Voldemort doesn’t know how to make himself look less frightening. Oh, he suspects he still has the skill to fool a grown man, if he’s so inclined, to appear harmless, but children…children, in all their stupidity, often have better instincts.
“Which Black are you?” he asks, stopping in the doorway, in an attempt to reassure the child, give him space.
You’re blocking the door, though. His only way out.
He knows the boy’s name. Oh, how he knows it. But he wants to hear it. He hadn’t heard that name out loud, not since he was four and Cole told him his full name. Never after that.
The child rises his chin, defiant, proud, even if still afraid.
“Marvolo.”
It sounds unreal. He still can’t believe it.
“Quite an odd name,” he says. “I thought Blacks favour stars and constellations. What does it mean?”
The child looks around, quickly, trying to find another way out of the room.
There isn’t any.
“I’m named after a special friend of my Father’s,” he says, and Voldemort’s heart twists, viciously.
