“I am so serious.” Her patience was wearing thin as she forces him back down again, sighing in annoyance at the thought of him trying to move again. “Now stop moving before your guts spill out too- I doubt you want that.”
It was some made up anecdote to try and scare him off, telling a story about a ‘man she previously nursed too’ and that he died by ‘standing up while wounded that his guts spilled out’ when told not to. Sooyoung had been reading too much to the point she can lie perfectly about anything if needed, and it didn’t help that she was particularly good at it. From facts to false children’s tales, she had it all. Of course Seojun wasn’t dumb enough to believe such thing, but she was tired and didn’t want to further worsen his condition.
“Just stay there and stop moving. The more you complain and move, the slower you heal.” Sooyoung cleans up idly, face of horror from what she had to mend of him. It was disposed of so professionally, it was like it never even happened at all. She could’ve taken him to the hospital but that’s far too risky since they could be followed, and identities would be known. Her body moves to the windows, closing the blinds shut and making sure no one was lurking outside as she was a little paranoid of who can be following him, it would only mean she would be in trouble too. Feeling her shoes for her desired knife, she made sure it was intact just in case- shuffling to where his dismantled weapon was, disassembling it properly and cleans it in the mean time.
Her eyes avert to the other, sighing once more before going back to him and handing her own for emergencies only gun, knowing he probably wants extra security. “Now sleep, I’m going to be awake the whole time so no need to toss and turn.” she fetches a blanket and covers his body, fluffing the pillow to make sure he was comfortable. “You know, I had to look for someone who never slept, he ended up dying on his couch with his eyes wide open. True story.”
