Sorry if you've already been asked this, but what's your take on whether it's viable (or even possible) to have an odd number of players in Sburb? I've seen different opinions. Some say it shouldn't matter since the client-server chain would still work, but a lot of other people bring up how there would be an uneven distribution of dreamers on Derse/Prospit, which would give an unfair advantage to one side. So, thoughts...? Amazing blog by the way.
From the sessions we’ve seen, the rules of Sburb can change on a dime based on the nature of the players. Maybe that odd one out is put on a different planet? Maybe they have two selves? No dream self at all? Or maybe either Derse or Prospit have an extra dreamer, and the game just goes on. It’s not like the Derse and Prospit dreamers are actually competing against each other. Anything could happen.
Thanks for the compliment! I haven’t done original Homestuck stuff in at least a year, but I’m glad people still appreciate it.
