Trans! Moriarty twins! Because yes.
Head is fucking FULL
trans/nonbinary aus created by trans people: sexy, not transphobic, definitely extremely well thought out and personal
trans/nonbinary aus created by cis people: repulsive, always transphobic even if they're not trying to be, literally no thought at all besides fetishization
It's Pride I'm thinking of all sorts of way to draw trans girl Kirito. We (aka yes my lovlies on Discord helped) designed a little outfit for her based on the OS outfit's color scheme.
Later I wanna redraw her avatars so. (Maybe I will also do those digitally I was lazy today so sketchpad Kiri it is!)
Don't reblog with any trans slurs. Or else.
I know I’m prepping to do a trans bi boy Kirito fic soon, but another thought has crossed my mind because I am a trans boy mess all about trans AUs here. Either a trans girl Kirito being fully loved and supported by cis girl Asuna, getting tips and tricks in clothing and hair and makeup and sharing bits of things like crush on Eugeo or whatnot (because I can’t ever see Asuna as liking girls no matter how weird that seems she’s just only attracted to guys in my brain.) or~~~ Trans boy Asuna doing the same with cis boyfriend Kirito giving tips and telling him how handsome his is awkwardly, defending his honor.
submission - transgender
A starts his period and the only way he can obtain pads/tampons is with the help of B, who doesn’t know A is trans
A is bullied/judged for being trans, so B helps A stand up for him-/herself (bonus: they used to not like each other)
A and B are nervous about coming out to each other as trans because neither of them knows that the other one is having the same internal struggle
A is a closeted trans girl who plays a hyper-masculinized sport and is having a hard time reconciling her gender identity with her enjoyment of the sport; B is a teammate who supports her and may or may not be hopelessly crushing on her. (This one can most likely be gender-flipped)
do you have any trans/same-sex couple aus? thanks!!
Well I can certainly try! :)
everyone thinks we’re just roommates but buddy, we’re WAY more than that
“this is my girlfriend/boyfriend/partner!” “aw, it’s so nice that you have a close friend that’s a girl/boy/whatever!” “wait no i don’t think you understand”
you guys are really cute bestfriends! “oh no sweetheart, we’re not friends”
i haven’t been taking my hormone pills for a while (for whatever reason) so you send me a text every morning to remind me to take them
i didn’t want to tell you i was trans because i was afraid that you’d treat me differently but you didn’t even bat an eye
i didn’t want to tell you i was trans because i was afraid that you’d treat me different but apparently you already knew and were just waiting for me to feel comfortable enough to tell you
everyone thinks we’re a straight couple but no, you’re trans ugh i wanna punch someone “no please don’t just leave them be it doesn’t matter”
you’re more offended about transphobia than i am and i’m the trans one
we’re both trans and support each other
I hope you like these! :)

All right, I’d like to clear something up real quick. Now this is just my opinion on the matter but please hear me out.
Genderbends are not transphobic nor are they oppressive.
I see this a lot and I really don’t understand where this came from? No where in the name does it imply only two genders, only transphobic people themselves imply that. A genderbend is literally just turning the character from one gender to another. So technically, trans AUs are genderbends.
A genderbend AU is made to explore a character more or experiment with said character when they are a different gender from the one they are in the story. It’s completely harmless and does not erase any identity.
And I know gender does not make a character; however, given today’s society and it’s views on people, it can serve to give the character different experiences.
I know people have their own opinions on this but this is just my stand on it. I see absolutely nothing wrong with genderbends and I most certainly don’t see them as transphobic. It’s only problematic when people assume it to be only between male and female.
