My Hannibal-inspired shawl, cast on during “The Wrath of the Lamb” and knit over an eight-week post-finale mourning period. The pattern (the Quadratische Decke Shawl, on Ravelry here: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/qd—quadratische-decke-shawl) looked fittingly beautiful and likely to make me cry. 

Shawl features knife-like shapes of twisted stitches, a pair of mesh lungs (perhaps removed while still breathing?) nestled above floral ribs, floating above teeth trailing ragged bits of scalp, knit in an alpaca silk yarn in a deep, flesh-colored pink.

I feel like I'm fading.... Gotta say I actually do like this shot. I really loved watching Will lose his memories, so that's mainly what this was based off of, all of those scenes he'd lose time and walk off with no destination in mind. Also thank you tattle-crime for hosting this contest, cannibalcouture. I did touch the photo up a bit only due to darkness (although its my own fault, ended up taking this photo in the middle of my street at ten o'clock).

#CannibalCouture

This was an exhausting journey, from attempting to get the right shade to my overalls to spending an obscene amount of money for my cell door (seriously! how can wood cost THAT much?!) 

In the end, I am very happy with the result. 

Even though I should have ironed my coveralls. Aw, well. It’s not like they would have been properly pressed at the hospital.

I really, really couldn’t resist entering tattle-crime‘s #CannibalCouture contest, so here we are.

I thought for my entry I’d throw back to the first time Freddie Lounds photographed Will Graham- in the woods for the Eldon Stammets case, for the “Takes One to Know One” article. The concept was a kind of candid shot of Will about to slip into his crime scene recreation.  We’ve come so far from season 1, and things have changed so much, but I’ll never forget how deeply s1 hit me and how it snared me for this series forever. Photo was taken and edited by princethingphotos. Cosplayer is me.

Here is my entry for tattle-crime #cannibalcouture cosplay contest :) I made the hooves and flowers crowns and purchased the shirt and funk pop wendigo figure. I wasn't sure if a collage fit the rules or not, so I posted a single picture as well.

I finally decided to partake in tattle-crimes #CannibalCouture contest! Unfortunately my hair was a bit too short for my Will cosplay which I normally use, so I went with my Hannibal instead. The photo was taken by a friend and then I did the touchups in Photoshop :)
