Fun facts about this slide:

Mannequins sent down would often come out with missing limbs or heads

There's padding in the top of the loop

Some riders would exit with lacerations from teeth that had been embedded in previously mentioned padding

Riders may also come out with missing teeth, broken noses, and/or dislocated joints

they probably did but i really hope they never actually tore down the cannonball loop even to this day because it makes for a striking sculpture or installation piece as a symbol of raw human fear
