This is to the people who I wish could have stayed in my life longer,

I will only ever be disappointed by my own expectation, with anything in life. And I knew that when I met you. I’ve known that.

Then, upon meeting you I allowed myself to dream about the future. A future where I was happy, and confident. I allowed myself to expect, to believe, that you would be in my future. Having faith is risky, but it seemed worth it.
